My Story

Since I was a kid, I have always considered myself someone who enjoys talking to other people and is curious about learning new things from them. That inherent aspect of my personality has given me the opportunity to appreciate risk and find new situations that allow me to put myself outside my comfort zone.

Needless to say that I probably would not have exploited that side of me if it were not for the guidance and support of my family. They have been the ones who give the last kick when I am unsure about things and support me when I need it the most. It is the combination of having an open-minded and extrovert personality that allows me to embrace new situations and be willing to learn from the experience of others as much as possible. Talking to others with no shame.

That wild yet prudent aspect of my personality, I can thrive when exposed to ever-faced experiences, people, and culture. Although I used to live far away from Continental Europe, I consider myself very fortunate to have been given several opportunities to live abroad and immerse myself in new cultures, traditions, and languages. One of the most significant steps I had yet done came when I was fifteen years old. I embarked on a new adventure in Montana for eleven months! I still remember thinking about how challenging that experience may be, yet confident in my attitude and with the support of my family, I was able to make the best of it! Up to this date, I still can't describe how much I learned that year in all aspects of life. So, if you're reading this and you're thinking of going abroad during high school (or encouraging your kids to go), navigate directly to the "contact" section :)

After having lived there for a year in the United States, I surprised myself with how comfortable I was when living abroad, surrounded by people from different cultures, etc. So, after graduating from High School in Tenerife, a new adventure was on its way! I moved to Lancaster, in the United Kingdom. I went to University there and studied Marketing Management for three years. During those years, not only did I learn a lot academically but also appreciated the fact of being surrounded by coursemates and friends from literally all over the world! My intercultural journey was not meant to end there, though. When graduating with honours from Lancaster Univerity, I moved to Dublin, Ireland, where I currently completing my master's in Digital Marketing.

As someone passionate about cultural diversity and languages, I have completed several French Language summer exchanges in Montpellier and Lyon before going to the United Kingdom. I made friends from the USA, Spain, etc. Close ones know how much I learned and grew personally in my first exchange in France... But I'll leave that for another occasion, not now! What I can tell you, though, is that it was life-changing and in some ways, that experience changed my perception of life and values.

To tell you just a bit about myself, this is not short! If four adjectives represent me, let them be curious, positive, empathetic, and intercultural-competent.

I hope you enjoy your experience visiting my site and learning more about myself as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Where am I from?

(Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain)

I was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. This archipelago is located close to the Morroco Coast, and it is formed by eight beautiful islands that make the Canaries such a lovely destination for holidays and visiting!

Tenerife has the highest peak in Spain as its volcano has 3.718m of altitude! I love going there to see the sunset or taking foreign friends there as it is stunning to see the sea of clouds that can be seen from the top of the volcano. If you go to Tenerife, this is a must.

What I love the most about Tenerife is its weather and its ability to offer its citizens and tourists activities and field trips that involve the sea and the mountain, even on the same day! There is space for everyone who visits! If you are more of a person who enjoys trekking or hiking rather than swimming or riding an inflatable banana in the sea, Tenerife will not disappoint you.

I have been to all the islands except for one, El Hierro. I want to go to this island the next time I'm on holiday as family and friends have told me that although it is a tiny island, is it worth visiting and enjoying its volcanic landscape and natural swimming pools!

If you are thinking of going to the Canaries and Tenerife, more specifically, feel free to contact me. I'm more than happy to share fantastic destinations, restaurants, etc., with you!
